Spring Newsletter 2010

The Spring Recital will be held on Sunday, May 16^th at 2:00 PM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Latrobe. The church is located on Mission road beside the Laurel 30 Shopping Center. This will be a formal recital, so music must be memorized. I am hoping that each student will be able to learn at least 2 pieces. Students may play duets if they like. Duets do NOT have to be memorized. The church has plenty of seating so relatives and visitors are welcome.

PMTA is sponsoring an Ensemble Recital on Sunday, May 23^rd at 4:00 PM at the new Seton Hill Performing Arts Center. If anyone is interested in playing a duet at this recital, please let me know. There is no cost for this recital and it will be a wonderful opportunity to play one of the new Steinway grand pianos.

The Jazz, Swing and Blues Workshop at Seton Hill was very enjoyable and I would like to personally thank Sarah Hennessy for being one of the performers. Sarah played “Summertime Blues” and did a great job!
